Pixelmon Modpack

    Having the ability to bring Pixelmon onto the MyM launcher with the blessing of their Development team is a huge step for MyM. That being said it also opens us up to the ability to develop a modpack steming from pixelmon itself. This process is would not be a fast process by any means and it would have to be something that as an admin team we would have to look into long and hard, however. I believe if there was significant interest that we could get something of the sort done.

    What I would like from you the community is to hand out ideas as to what you would like to see in a physical pack, now keep in mind this should not take away from the nature of pixelmon. Meaning the tech and magic would need to be kept to a minimum. I also need to know if there is an interest in doing this, this would be your chance as the MyM community to help shape an entire modpack.

    Currently my list of mods I would like to see only encompass 2 mods,
    • Chisel 2
    • Plenty of Biomes
    • CarpentersBlocks
    • DecoCraft
    • Ztones
    • roguelikedungeons (would require monsters enabled)
    • Project Zulu
    • Progressive Automation

    Please remember I would prefer to keep this modpack to basic 10-15 mods at the most.

    Personally, I don't want to see anything like Blood-magic and Thaumcraft in it, because that just defeats the purpose of "Pokemon" imo anyway.

    Something I could see being good for it, is Thermal - due to there being a lot of cities/factories in Pokemon, it would be cool to see if people were able to make "Pokeballs factories" or Cities with technology that isn't just "redstone"

    I think, imo anyway, that I would only want to see "Chisel, Plenty + Thermal&MFR"

    Edit; Maybe Botania? Would make the world look prettier, also gives something extra to do, and I don't see it ruining the idea of "Pokemon" being the mod

    Not if we opened a farmworld and had mobs enabled there only.

    As Bens suggested Botania would be cool you can't say pokemon does not have its magic ;)

    Ender Storage
    Extra Utility if possible

    I always wanted to see metallurgy in a pack but that just me

    You could set pixelmon to easy, normal or hard without any mobs spawning. pixelmon takes away the fact that other mobs than pokemon spawn

    No it doesn't, Pixelmon has a config option to turn on mob spawning.[DOUBLEPOST=1426970533,1426950351][/DOUBLEPOST]
    Added to the list of mods we would like, Curious about your thoughts on MFR and Thermal @SirWill

    I don't think that both of the mods fit to pixelmon.

    Well what about tinkers construct want to hear what you guys think and if no Any ideas of when will kit tools be fix because atm they give nothing

    i think some sort of structures or building randomly generated would be kinda cool. but i dont know if there is a mod that has something like this.

    Thing is with most of these mods we are going to have to reload chunks or restart meaning you lose houses unless there's another way

    It may cause that, if it does we will try and get a very nice starter kit going to make it easier on you all from the beginning.

    its inevitable with stuff like Thermal though[DOUBLEPOST=1426986290,1426986238][/DOUBLEPOST]But before you do any of this do the things that are more important like a shop and gyms

    if ur going to add the dungeon mod and a farmworld with mobs, i would say tinkers would be great. easier to gather and some nice weps for the extra mobs.
    I would say that thermal and MFR does not fit in here since that will ruin the core the pixel experience.
    Openblocks is a good wellrounded mod wich just gives some handy stuff wich does not effect gameplay that much so that i would gladly have in :)

    I think it would be cool to get a build team to make a "pokemon" type world with gyms, shops/markets, cities and random generated structures that have Pokeloot in them (Like underwater temples like that have in Pokemon black that you can access using dive) maybe make them like the 1.8 underwater temples except more of a maze??!?
