So, I am not sure if anyone can help me here, but might as well give it a shot. I have been playing on the Infinity server for quite a while now(I'd say about a month) and just recently I have started to have some memory issues it seems. Whenever I start up the pack(using the FTB launcher), I get to the white Mojang loading screen and then this error message pops up , pretty much 100% of the time. I have tried to allocate more memory to the Infinity pack, but it doesn't seem to help at all. I have 8GB of total RAM on my PC, usually I allocate around 3GB for Infinity, but it just started to act up very recently. I have tried to allocate almost 6GB to see if that would fix it, but so far whatever I tried hasn't. So, at this point I have no idea how to fix this, other than buying more RAM, which i'm thinking is the only solution to this problem. Edit: Doesn't seem like the image is working, so here is the link: Gyazo - c5661ff09566ee60b5b90a863386c4f8.png
Yeah i'm just as confused as you are, this has just started happening very recently(like 1 or 2 days ago), it was fine all the time before
That problem is a windows side problem, try closing every not neccesary program (skype, chrome / firefox, spotify, etc), then try again
I think you have a Java 32 bits, for allocating more memory simply upgrade Java for 64 bits. I think that might solve your problem.
Exactly what I was looking into when it first started happening. I have closed out of every unnecessary program, still having problems.[DOUBLEPOST=1427239074,1427239056][/DOUBLEPOST] I have Java 64 bit.
Can you post your client log? Do you have a texture pack? Have you tried to reinstall the modpack or tried to start it with MyM-Launcher?
If nothing that sir will said works you can try buying more memory if you are on a pc. But if you are on a laptop this does sound drastic do it if nothing works and you really want to play. you can re-set your computer it worked for me
Buying more memory won't fix it, because infinity can easily run with 2Gb ram allocated and 4Gb ram total... and if he got 8Gb total that shouldn't be the problem ._.
Thanks everyone for the suggestions, I have fixed my problem. It seemed to be malware eating up my memory, I had bought subscription to MalwareBytes a while ago and I hadn't even thought of that being the problem, because I usually don't do anything stupid on my PC. But yeah, it seems to be working fine currently
