New Monster Server - old/current monster server stays

Hey,

shortly after the update some of players asked us if we couldn´t reset the server so that the economy is fine again and we don´t have the issue with the dust and id changes. At first I thought that are just a few people which want that but it got more and more. So I pre-generated a new world over the last days. We will keep the current monster server but also release a new one. So you can decide on which you play. The reset includes again everything.

Transfer:
I will move the current/old monster server and the monster-plus server to a new box I´m setting up atm. So there will be some downtime for the monster servers, but I can´t give you an exact time span. However it shouldn´t take that long (~20-40 min.).

Access:
I´m not sure about the IPs atm, but we will redirect monster.mineyourmind.net to the lobby, to avoid wrong panic about a reset or not recognizing the new server. The portals are already built and will get activated soon.

Premium:
If you bought claims or a quick start kit, let us know and you will get it back.

Monster+:
The monster+ server isn´t pre-generated yet, but I will do this as soon as the public monster servers switched their box. I will also offer everyone on the monster plus server to copy and paste their current house to the new plus server, if it is cleared before (no machines, chests, hidden stuff..). If you built with microblocks we can only hope that the copy and paste works, no promises.
If you want your house copied to the new monster+ server please make sure that you remove all machines chests and valuable stuff. Finding a new location for your house and terraforming after the paste will be up to you.

Monster+ changes:
We will change the access to the monster+ server a bit. A lot of players with +tier2 don´t want to switch because of moving all their stuff or friends or bigger community. We will make the server public for everyone, but you won´t be able to claim without tier2 and above. I hope that is in the interest of most of our supporters.

PS: I would wish me more positive and negative criticism from all players, as I´m not in your position and only see the server my way out of managing them and keeping them online.

new monster plus isn´t up yet, thats why. I´m working on it atm.

 

yeah I only did the important things, to bring it up as fast as possible. Maybe an @Co-Admin or @Moderating could fix that or I do it as soon as the monster plus server is online and the small issues fixed.

 

I hate the monster modpack according to unstability.

 

I understand that and this is the reason why it is in a light grey color. I´m trying to solve the issue with multiple groups and I can´t solve that we will remove them. However if we get it to work, we could switch the long ones to shorter titles which makes it a bit clearer. I´m fully with you with the thing that a clear chat is better than ranks, but I know that most of the players see that different or don´t think that the chat is too confusing with the titles.
We a similar system on our ultimate server and the players loved it and asked us if we could re-add it on the tppi server also some players form the horizons and monster server asked why we do not have premium titles..
