The storage buses don't look now as bad as they used to...

I also tried a storage based on export to Logistic pipes .... someone from staff broke it because of tps issues -.-

well it was meant to be a dead-end storage only, but the stress the extractor does to the interface seems horible.

the power generator is almost as bad as docking stations (those things knock of 14 tps with just two of them)

I'll soon post an alternative way to store mass-items outside the ME, and still have it available for all your needs.
All it has is 6 export buses for every 42 mass-storage inventory, and 1 import bus :3

It is a lot more intricate, but should not have any effect at all on your ME system aside from the mentioned buses.

intricate = harder harder = less likely for it to be put into practice because people are lazy

Negligable effect on tps = not getting removed due to tps effects
Not getting removed due to tps effects = wanted

Only issue is if indeed the hardness to set it up surpasses the wanted level.

so lazy that you'd rather rebuild a setup that can get removed several times over by co-admins if it drains too much tps, than to just make the tiny bit harder to setup setup that will not affect the server?

i don't use the setup of export/import busses, my AE is tiny, nor do i need that setup ;)

mfr grinder disabled, gonna wait for the next update with the storage bus, the amount of performance improvements is insane, so the issue might be gone.

does this apply to all 1.7 servers, including Sky Factory 2?

EandPi, I'd be very interested in learning more about your setup :3 also, is anyone aware of of a two-pipe logistics pipe system having any sort of major tps impact? Since computer craft can't directly interface with AE2 in a usable way, I discovered that if I connect a logistics provider to an ME interface, then a requester directly to that and a chest, I can use CC to seamlessly access my ME and do autocrafting remotely and theoretically more efficiently. In theory, even if it does take a comparable amount of resources to AE autocrafting, it can craft at least as fast, but maybe faster..idk--it's a project I'm prototyping on my own server. :D

logisticspipes is worse than @SilentBane 's storage busses combined, 50x more laggier, 888leoj made a basic system, ctauck removed it for being so laggy it was rediculous, the power supplyer alone does this and more!

Isn't it time to ban BC quarrys? I saw one guy using a bc quarry where he had a diamond pipe that threw cobblestone and other things he didn't want in the farm world. I am pretty sure those BC quarrys are lagging the server alot and honestly the ender quarry's should be a must just because they are so much better optimized. Just a suggestion :p
