New Factions Server suggustion!!! :)

Dude I get wanting to climb the most messages leaderboard, but please if you don't have anything valuable to add to the conversation please don't. It gives me alerts everytime I have posted on something previously and you follow through with something. Trust me if you are here in the community long enough you are going to climb the ranks. Its going to happen, but there is no need to flood the "new posts" section for those of us staff members who try to read every post it would be greatly appreciated.

I have said it before mining even in this thread. It is something that we have discussed. However there are no immediate plans to add a factions server. I think that factions is great, but there is alot of work that has to go into something like that. It is not shooting down the idea it is simply just saying not right now. We have alot on our plate currently and it doesn't feel like the right time. Of course slind and SW can come in and completly change my mind tomorrow but I feel like we have alot of other pans in the fire right now and we should try and pull a few out before adding anymore In the meantime go try DIE #ShamelessPlug #WhyyounoloveDIE

Well, Charles had the compromise of turning pvp on in Infinity, I and I think its up to SW and Slind to make the decision to add servers, and I agree with Charles, well, as much as I can, as having to many projects, like defending from DDos attacks, and a whole bunch of other stuff, a new server may not come soon.

 

understandable your point but i would glad to do some reaserch and get a friend who knows a bit about java and stuff to help out! Plus It dosn't need to be now.. It could be in a few months maybe half a year?!

you forgot the most important option... a potato[DOUBLEPOST=1427224250,1427223877][/DOUBLEPOST]as for my opinion on I think having a custom coded rpg/factions server on mym would be nice, partly as it would provide an easier playing experience for those of us with old or simply bad computers(especially since my good computer(which was a semi-old very nice computer) broke down recently, and because of this i have not been able to play any of the heavily modded servers.

 

Sadly It has been ruled out for now... we may need to wait a few months for the project to start, or maybe It wont start at all!

I will help aswell I know some coding ( html, java, css ) just a little though , But I am taking classes on java coding.

 

That new FTB Trident pack would be perfect for this....

 

I believe it is meant to be a vanilla(minus plugins) server, or atleast this thread is.
