Could you have a farmworld that actually resets every so often, starting this weekend? Or at least have a plugin that does so automatically (I would suggest that being used instead of doing it manually)? To the community's knowledge. A farmworld is a constantly renewed world, specifically for finding things that can only be found when you start a new world. That way you wouldn't need to reset the main map where people actually love their creations, and plenty of ores, mobs, and misc, can be found. I made a poll so that you can express your opinion on the reset of the farmworld.
Resetting the farmworlds more than 2 twice a month or automatically wouldn´t be kind as the world generation lags the whole server extremely. If we tell the server to generate the farming worlds it takes 1-2 days until it is done. 1-2 days with half of the tps as normally a week, doesn´t sound funny, does it? However we can schedule a reset for next week?
Is there a way to preload the world, save it and keep loading that world? So the generation of it would be complete each time. Something like copy paste delete repeat kinda thing. It's something like what I used to do for the Nether on a server I ran so that everyone could mine the ores while keeping the Nether small.
A reset for farmworld in B-Team 1 would be most pleasant for the community. I hope that a scheduled monthly reset will be considered deeply for the sake of the server's integrity. Thank you in advance. -Yolju.
I've been thinking the same thing. Particularly with the scarcity of mobs, it would be nice to go somewhere we could be certain they hadn't been hunted to extinction.
It is just meant to be a farmworld so if it is the same over and over I don't think it would matter much, would it?
Hey! I'm just checking on the servers as always. Today is the day to reset the farmworlds. : ) At what time today will you reset them? I am stoked as always to see the server develop and renew.
hey, unfortunately the spigot bug delayed everything. There was a massive bug which crashed all servers on player login which took some time to figure out and than get someone who can fix it, wait for it and apply the patch. I´m not sure if I get to it today as it is already pretty late (23:15) and I need to get up early tomorrow.
