    Other suggestion thread

    An endgame list is in the currently in the works. However, after looking at the number of items on the list, some players feel it may be a better approach to just disable the market completely. This is the case on Agrarian Skies and other HQM packs. With Regrowth essentially being Ag Skies on the ground, I strongly believe the market should be completely disabled.

    I would like to see how the community is split in terms of having/not having a market.

    Current status of the market in-game :

    Let me just start with a good example:
    I just unlocked Certus Quartz seeds. As you can see in the images below, they are not easy to get. Extremely endgame, and require roughly 80% of the questbook to be completed. This means, no ME system until end-game. However, because Certus quartz is a product of the seed, I could sell it on the market. Now, anyone has access to ME system at any point in the game. Sure, AE2 related items could be added to the endgame item list, but this is only an example. It is the same for any item in the pack, it just depends on the mod.

    Pros:
    -Creates an economy, which many players like.

    Cons:
    -Trading ruins pack progression
    -Allows people to skip quests
    -Enables the ability to buy items to complete quests.

    I probably missed a lot of stuff, but feel free to share ideas. I can always update this post :)

    I agree the market as it exists now should not exist.

    While at, the /kits need to be nerfed as well.

    I'd say get rid of the market and extremely limit the amount of trading that is allowed, whats the point of playing a totally progression-based modpack if youre going to skip progression

    I do not agree the market should be taken down. The money that I personally make in the market goes towards my purchasing of claim (which without would be very slow), not having those claim blocks heavily cuts my creative freedom on the server, due to the (unfortunately) high amount of lost soul griefers we've had recently.

    I agree to get rid of it. Somebody is always putting something on there that shouldnt be. And.. yes its a quest pack.. do the quests, dont buy your way through.

    I doubt that the market would be removed without some other way of getting claimblocks added?

    you do get 640 claimblocks a day with voting or 4480 a week its kinda hard to expand enough in one day that you could need more then that

    Well it depends of the player if he wants enjoy the modpack he should make the thinkgs like the questbooks says and advance in it slowly. But if the player want advance faster he should use the shop. The other think is that if you want expand and claim the stuff you builded or whatever you want claim you need much more claim blocks that you get by voting, if you dont claim your stuff it probably will be griefed.

    I voted "Yes" tho there is no valid argument for that to be honest. Only my personal reference that every1 should stick to a storylane.

    If you want to keep up with a quest line, don't use market at all, no1 forces you to do so. It's not a race, right? If some1 wants to skip that progress path by buying stuff off the market, his choice. All I care about is my 3x3 chunks area where anchor can load it whole, You guys, do whatever you want, it is not a concern of mine (exeption- building pointless setups and counting TPS drop your machines caused to whole server- in other words- being an idiot not only for oneself but for whole server, which, I hope, will not happen on Regrowth).

    If some1's having fun gathering MyMs by selling endgame stuff on market? So be it. I have used "/market listings" only once, to check if it works.

    This pack has Mekanism mate ;) the lag is coming. And the more people trade, the faster people get their machines set up.
