    Why were mana spreders removed? can't use rune altars.

    Without rune altars all magic seeds are not accessable. which kind of breaks the mod pack.

    just tried placing mana spreaders and they disappeared once i bound it to my mana pool

    I have found since the fix, a mana spredder is removed if its target in is removed.

    That's probably fixed with the next modpack update. For now this is better then the many entities.
