Done Lost my most valuable item due to rollback

Admins,
I lost a diamond axe with fortune 3 due to the last rollback. I have the diamonds required to craft the hammer, but i have no way to enchant it. I got as a reward for completing the quest "powered processing" (craft a pulverizer). I'd be really happy if an admin could give another to me. Yes, everyone lost something with the rollback, but not everyone lost their most expensive item. Moreover, rollbacks are 'bugs', so I don't think there is anything wrong on asking to get my hammer back :/ Anyway, I'll leave for you to decide

 

rollbacks are not bugs it's the system going to it's backup, tends to be people don't get stuff back from a rollback

 

True, the rollback is not a bug, but in theory it should only undo your work, not removing items. So, if you crafted an item, you'd get back the components, if you built an structure, you'd get back the blocks used. In theory, that is.

 

But because world and user saves are separate, you can loose things (or get a duplicate when lucky).

 

Exactly, that is the buggy part. You shouldn't lose things (nor duplicate).

 

i can dig through my chests i think i have a spare one somewhere if your on at the moment, i'll be in game in a bit ~ i really doubt they will replace it

 

I appreciate your kindness, sir, but you can keep it. I've come to a point that I don't even care anymore

 

lol, build an anvil, build an enchantment table, and start enchanting books, when you get the right book you can enchant the hammer on the anvil with the book
