Sorry to hear about your issue! I have something for you to try. First, pick the golem back up by left clicking him (not shift left click) with the bell. Then, When you place him back down the next time do it on the Arcane Alembic by right clicking with the golem in hand while looking at it.
after you place the golem and he's attached to the alembic, remember to also click the first in your row of jars to make him use the jars. He's capable of multiple rows, I use both sides and have double stacked and he can reach them all.
