Decided Against Adding BM Shards to the marketplace

A player bought to my notice that without the Demon ritual you are not able to progress in that mod. My suggestion is for the Life Shard/Soul Shards that are dropped from killing the demons to be added to the market so players can continue to progress with blood magic.

Soul Shard: 4792:29

As a player has already done the ritual on the server, no one else is able to do it/find where the ritual was done to gain these items.

 

Thought players can make as many rituals as they like, attleast on ag2 they can.

 

A player reported that it was limited to one per server. Im not sure as I havent done BM before. Maybe @BookerTheGeek could provide more infomation.

No. They should not be added to the market. The ritual is very expensive and has no limit on how many times it can be done.

 

So it doesnt have a limit? or is that just in the farmworld?

 

It can be done as many times as wanted

If that was the case it would be better just to have the items sold at spawn, instead of making a hierarchy

 

the mobs are not that hard to kill but also spawn not often, so i'd guess just adding them away from the endgame list would be fine.
Getting to tier 6 is taking sometime anyways.. would not make that much difference.

 

it doesn't have a limit, and it's insanely hard to get the ritual going, 15 million LP and all of the regeants x 64 is alot, so no, i'd like this idea go down quickly, as this would break the progression system of BM so badly it's insanity

Maybe he forgot the reagents or didn't have 15m LP?

 

No, the spawn rate is crapped on with the MYM mob edits. Waited half an hour and got one to spawn, and he didnt even drop one. Good idea, but MYMs are too common to come by. Another way to get them, maybe having a trade for etherial slates to ensure they have the proper altar first.

 

aren't those the t6 slates?.... you need the shards to get them, and i've gotten like 4 to drop from every kill with looting 3...

 

No, those slates are t5, and I must just have horrid luck on spawning them then. Wonder if you can auto-spawn them.

 

can't auto spawn, you'll get bugged crystals instead, it takes awhile for me too, and i'm fairly certain those slates are t6

 

Chugga is (somehow) correct, ethereal slates are from a T6 altar. Demon Blood shards are required for T5 recipes and potentially the T6 altar, although I cannot remember that stage.
