I feel these need to be either fixed and/or banned as they cause a great deal of lag when people craft with 2x2 and 3x3 recipes in the same AutoPackager. If not a ban at least a warning.

Had to deal with these 4 times in the past 10 minutes of this post being created.
So if I were crafting Diamond Blocks and Glowstone Blocks out of diamonds and dust it'd go from 2x2 to 3x3 recipes, which is the cause of the performance issues on these things. If we could do something like at least add a warning to the item stating not to do so, that'd be great.

The main issue is that many players place them next to big chests which causes this performance issues. Does agrarian skies have a alternative like Auto Crafter from Ender IO?

    Ag2 doesn't have enderIO

There's Extra Utilities with the In-World crafting, but that can become hard to work with.
Super Crafting Frame also provides, surprisingly, a super crafting frame.
AE2 also has autocrafting, but that's pretty late in the game, iirc.

There's no real alternative but I'd just use the AE system once functional to craft because it uses the resources inside the AE system, and you could just craft it all manually like that until they can autocraft

I am pretty sure thermal expansion is a part of Ags 2 so you could always use cyclic assemblers, but they need a lot more power and space. Though correct me if i'm wrong I haven't played ags 2 yet.

Only problem with cyclic assemblers is they just take 1 recipe per machine so it would take more than 1 to make each ore block

You are correct about that, but I mean when you have all 9 set up they won't create too much lag. My system in sf2 (I know it isn't ags 2) is 9 cyclic assemblers being feeded by my sieves constantly then sending the ores into TE furnaces and then into my ME system.

Well i guess most player like the one block solution because if i am correct the packager is a one time thing and cheaper if i am not mistaking

If it's the large chests we could add a shift warning not to place next to CompactStorage chests

It's honestly too bad that we can't disable the hybrid mode specifically

That would be 9 x 3. Since you got 9 broken ores, 9 crushed ores and 9 powdered ores.

Yeah, the previous setup I used (AS1, AE1) was a single autopackager, with ME export busses on all sides of a chest pumping in the broken, crushed and powdered ores. to convert them to their blocks, then pumping them into a hammering station with two autonomous activators with hammers on one side (pumping in autocrafted hammers) I think it would be even easier in 2, if only we could use storage busses.

I'm pretty sure we can't though.

I would add a tooltip to the packagers but minetweaker got removed :(
