How not to Fail at Facing Bosses in Minecraft

Usually when you face a boss, you should do some research, I would recommend looking at the official wiki for the mod, which contain current information. If you are facing a boss that might have changed in the future versions (I'm Looking at you Witchery >,>), you might have to use a different wiki. I would recommend using something that gives more drops, if Witchery related, deal the final blow with Arthana. If you are using Tinkers' Construct along with the mod, I would recommend adding quartz and lapis to a manullym cleaver, and if you want some moss, or an energy upgrade, it might not be the worst idea.

After looking through the wiki, you might want to prep an area for the boss to be fought in. If you want to trap the boss and make deals, or maybe make some make -shift barriers, I would recommend the Ghost of the Light Infusion (Which is a good excuse to install Witchery :3).

Lets not forget about armor. Armor is something that is almost always needed, even if you are using a bow, leather armor will be enough to RP with . I would recommend using armor that you need for the boss. The Demon from Witchery is the first one you should face, so I would recommend just basic diamond armor. For the undead, Death, and Leonard, I would recommend the strongest you can get.

draconic armor, i can't die, i sometimes face them in werewolf form

 

OP= Over Powered= Really Really Good, but easy to obtain

 

draconic isn't hard to get when you live with a t5 donor or 3

nah, the universal team me and @AlphaRue started eventually contains 2 t5 donors at least XD

 

Well usually I do most(not all) of the tech, and @chugga_fan is our magic geek, most of the other people we play with do almost of gathering/boss fighting, aswell as working on other aspects, if we are playing with @matijase or @mynameisAK they also do alot of tech and magic, @Decnav does mostly tech and building and I would say @The42ndDruid does mostly agriculture and building, in my opinion we are all equal contributors, but in the future due to the speed at which we reach endgame on packs I play to try to be in a team with at most 3 people including me, just not fun having nothing to due but wait for new packs

 

i'm 90% of mods, i just mainly do magic and tech for IC2...

 

I push for automation in every aspect ^_^; Whether that's tech or magic and anything I build I compact after its functionality is maxed. Making it look nice always comes after functionality, though every time I visit Chesh/Dom/Bunny/Tan I'm always in Awe of thier builds xD

dude, why would you ever thing carrer advice? but i can give you one, become the head of the board and you don't need to deal with a boss

 

better advice... buy the company.

 

Personaly i start using bloodmagics bound armor, wich is good without any echantments and some golden apples and you are ready for almost anything.
To make a boss battle less risky I use a botania laurel crown that resurects you if you die in the middle of a boss fight with full life and gives you some invicibility for a short duration and I always like to grab some tinkers construct life cannisters, because some bosses might actualy one shot you.
Also brew some potions, they might be meh to make, but they can get you a win with ease.

All mods have their best items and i like to exploit eweryone of them.
