Hello, Having been a mod on one of the modpacks for a while, I've talked with quite a few of the people who were also admins/mods, and I know people know how to find problems. The fact that in a week, there was a reset to the QB three times, just makes it unplayable for newer players, because in this modpack, you have to do quest to progress. Perhaps rather than simply resetting the QB constantly, we could find the root of the problem, and fix it. Also the fact that people keep calling it a virus that's spreading to other players, is just ridiculous. I'd bet it's more likely to do with the parties or right clicking on a block with the quest book in hand that they shouldn't. Either way, it's to bad that I can't keep playing on a modpack I liked, simply because it gets lazily reset rather than fixed.
Use the forum search and you will find tons of threads about the quest book issue. There is no way to fix the issue on our side and the mod devs refuse to fix it.
Please feel free to express your frustration to the mod author. This is 100% on their hands and they refuse to fix it or allows others to. I understand your frustration.
Well, without hqm some modpacks will be so bored.And hqm is the only mod of this type that exists atm.
