Yes, we did hide it as default as it would cause a crash when you select your first pokemon. There was a sign at the spawn on the old server which informed the player about it. @Mijikai can you place a new sign at the spawn?
We thought about doing this, but the fact that having pre built towns and regions would limit where players could build meant it was a toss out idea. We also thought that if we built one region (like kanto) players would insist they could go to the other regions for the badges there and that would be way to large of a map to try and build/maintain. We will be building things like arenas and the safari zone though so stand by for awesomeness! ^_^..v

I tried the Pokemon server a while back, and was completely lost. I would suggest adding the questing book to help players get started on the path so that the basic concepts of the Pokemon mod can be more understood. KCSpence
To get a quest book it would require the admins to use hours upong hours setting up a quest sytem for the server. Also it would be another mod which would stop people that aren't using the MyM launcher from playing pixelmon on our server. I like the idea, but the cons are too many Anyways it's not up to me, but this is what I heave been hearing
Sounds great, never played on the Pixelmon server before so in all honesty I have no idea what the differences are, but this interests me greatly...especially building my own gym, already buzzing with themes I could go with.

its for minecraft/forge 1.8, that is not possible as plugins won't work (the software required doesn't exist yet).
