Hey, When working with my mob grinder ae in the nether, encased in stone so there are no mobs, I randomly died, and I didn't drop any items or a grave, please help, although there are only about 3 things I need back, they took me nearly a month to get... If I don't get them, you may not see me again. Because of some stupid glitch..
Sirwilli, we have found the problem. The server, when you die within a certain vicinity of a mob, that world rolls back if no body is there, ie. The nether. And so, my grave was deleted. I'll spend the next month getting my stuff back, but I'm just making sure you fix that so it doesn't happen to anyone else.
It is. Also, for a very strange reason, I found a grave, opened it, and my armor was there, but none of my other items..
This is not a mod issue. It is a server issue. The world rolls back every time someone dies and nobody else is in that world. I have researched this problem, and found that many server owners found this as a server glitch.[DOUBLEPOST=1433342337][/DOUBLEPOST]I am not asking for my things back (although that would be awesome and save me a month of work). I'm asking you to fix the problem so it doesn't happen again.
The world can't rollback if there is no server crash/restart. And if you think there was a rollback then the grave should be also gone and not only some items in the grave.
It only rolled back a small amount. I know this because nobody else was in the nether, and I had built a new generator there that had disappeared. Also the hole I had made disappeared. If you think this is grief, that is a whole new problem. But it is possible since the people living near our mob grinder sometimes snoop around and take small things from the AE. Such as rotten flesh also, the graves use a system of absorbtion, like a hopper. within 3 seconds of creation, they suck up all nearby items. it may have rolled back about 3 seconds, right after i died, so only my armor stayed
You said you could reproduce it if I understood you right. Could you give an in depth explanation or even a small video on how to?
