Done Java.Io.EOFException? Please help!

Hello, my name is Rexarc. on sunday, may 31'st, i was on the regrowth server. i was in the eldritch outter lands, me and 3 friends were fighting the boss, which happened to be a couple giant taintacles. during the battle, my friends died, leaving only me. i nerd-poled with crusted stone, and used my shock wand focus to finish the fight. When i was running to get the loot, something strange happened. i was kicked by the server, because of some packet issue. i tried joining back in, was loading up the world, and was kicked 2 secs later, with this message; Internal Exception: Io.netty.handler.codec.DecoderException: java.io.EOFException.

i reset my client but it didnt work. the mods on ts told me to hard reset, which i did, but that didnt work. now they told me to post the console log. here it is: The Problem started at line 2527, if that helps. please, i havent been able to log on sine this happened, and i dont want to give up on regrowth. so please, let me know if you can fix this, and if you can, please try! Thank you for taking the time to read this.

 

i saw some loot bags from thaumcraft. i was running through the tainted floor to get loot. i dont know what i piked up, but i do know what i had before the fight.

 

i don't see anything there that should cause any sort of problem or can

 

the 3 yellow hearts and 1 red heart are the only things that werent there before the boss fight.

 

but those i've never seen crash someone...

 

i tried, and it failed again. try the loot bags. there the only other thing i can think of that could have entered my inventory and bug it out.

 

again, those won't bug it out, it might be the chunk, please try jailing @Rexarc here, and say when so that Rexarc can test by logging on

So when is this gonna be fixed? its been 3 days and i miss regrowth . it still hasnt been fixed.

 

nothing in his inventory should be giving a problem, it's strange, purging the inv and giving him back his items might be the best route to test to see what is causing this

 

I was talking to the mods, they said either that, or that it was a common problem. supposedly high warp + a certain potion effect has done this on DW20. i know i have a debuff active, maybe that is whats causing the problem.[DOUBLEPOST=1433372652][/DOUBLEPOST]well try the purge after the potion effect is gone and tested.

 

oh, that should only affect you if you are in the air, and that bug was fixed

 

strange. if we do do the purge, will it wipe my inventory, or my entire player data?
