Server Update (Pixelmon)

Hey, I was wondering if it is even possible to update the pixelmon server. We are VERY behind in updates. I'm not going to add a poll until I find out if its possible or not, thanks Connor

 

All I know is that the 1.8 pixelmon still is not recommended for hosting servers as there are a lot of bugs.

 

There are later versions that add more pixelmon still in 1.7

 

This was Brought up when we was building spawn Connor. There are a few reasons why we wont update.

 

Ben Mentioned they would have to rebuild the whole of spawn again.
The updates are quite buggy.
There was quite a few other things said which i cant remember but @Mijikai might.

 

I was never aware that we were behind "many" updates.
I said if it was just one, then we wouldn't update straight away unless it's majorly needed.

How many updates are we actually behind on Connor?

 

There are 2 updates ahead of us that I know of, and they are 1.8 mc( they go from version 3.4 to 4.4 in their official downloads and we dont use alpha builds that I know of, if there are others). The issue is not pixelmon bugs its the fact that 1.8 does not have an actual stable build for cauldron(sponge) and that means that we cant do plugins very well ^_^
