that post was made when the pack was in private beta.... you replied to a 3 month old post saying that i wasn't correct at that time....
Make a modular crusher as quickly as you can. It will let you turn generated cobblestone to sand, a very important ingredient for EVERYTHING (including turning into silicon dioxide for turf, moon rock, and gravel)
wait, what? How are you supposed to progress, then? Especially in that oh-so-lovely 'alternate map' that has no sand on it? It takes nearly 6 hours just to set that up... I wasn't aware you wanted this to be a 'suicide' pack.
Check FTB Thread, Threads here, videos ... theres so much tipps about this pack. On our community stream playthrough we did the whole thing in under a week. Obisidian is your SiO2 source of choice, do it ex nihilo way. Sand is not needed to craft the XU Pipe, you can use the energy pipe for the cobble gen instead. Its not a suicide pack and its not even grindy if you know what you are doing. But since the pack is about "Something fresh" it uses alot of underdog mods and even changes their mechanics, so dont expect to "know what your doing" on your first unprepared start
Use minechem, i am the only person who should have any SAG-mill type item and still not have gone to mars, as that was the intent, as for why i have a SAG-mill before going to mars, i was a beta tester, and quest rewards gave a machine chassis, minechem is your friend here
Huh? BTW. while you are here... I don't understand something. On it's surface this is one of the best staged technology packs I have ever played (Enough so that I am going to make my own tech-staged HQM modpack, albeit with a completely different flavor) Tech after tech rolloff, each naturally segueing into the next, until finally you wind up with a Tardis.... But blood magic? where the heck did that come from? It's like a great big "You are playing with magical spells' hammer between the eyes. Why blood magic?
