Was talking on TS with a couple of people and I had the suggestion that we could possibly do maybe £10 (converted into respective currency) for a custom rank, done in moderation ofc (so nothing offencive or confusing - posing as staff e.g.). Any thoughts?
From what I understand, it's like the /nick function but for the playtime ranks, although AK's suggestion is a one time thing. That way instead of say Titan you can change your title to something custom like PrettyPrincess and it'll read PrettyPrincess-MaelstromPhoenix in game.
I like the idea but it would be quite hard to automate so would require a lot of manual work to be done[DOUBLEPOST=1434368092][/DOUBLEPOST]The founders would be the best to ask though @SirWill @Slind
I believe in a clear simple structure. Hence I get the bad feeling of it working a little against it. :/
What if there was a small addition to the system, with more ranks (with suggestions from the community). As an example, when you gain access to Chief Engineer you also have access to Magical Engineer, Machining Engineer, Mechanical Engineer and others like that.
If the tags had a meaning in that they unlock certain things( for example "market manager" = less cost to put stuff on the market) then the extra tags/deviations would be a nice system to have. But atm those tags are just for show so I don't really see why extra/special tags would be beneficial. It's just a string that's attached to your name nothing more. (just my opinion )
These type of tags would be nice to see, but they'd need to be earned in another way than playtime (Such as having earned over 25k myms using the market for that example) and are harder to implement.
I dont think this need a special title. Just simple donators have discount when putting items on market. Usually if you put 1 item (or 64, quantity doesnt matter) for 20 mym, it cost 2 mym to put on market. So 0,10 mym per 1 mym. Donator Tier 1: had 5% discount Donator Tier 2: had 10% discount Donator Tier 3: had 20% discount Donator Tier 4: had 50% discount Donator Tier 4+: had 100% discount
that would be a thing where donors have a huge advantage to get rich on the market over other players ;( that wouldn't be a good thing
Dont forget if you sell a item for 10 mym you will not get the 10 mym, the market it self also "cut" some money
i know, ever wonder how i made like 1k myms in less than 10 minutes? i sold them by hand, much more $$$ for your $$$$ and overall much cheaper for the same price in exchange
i just announce that i sell limitless ammounts of nether stars, instantly 6 people want to buy some and i reply to each how many do you want? i get plenty of people asking for 64 stars! thats 1280 myms from one sale!
