Done Shiny Ingots Impossible to get

well, shiny ingots are used mainly to craft thermal foundation armor and tools, then they are used from Enhanced Inventories and to craft the Containment Chamber

 

TRY Using platnum they have the same ordictionary it should work

 

platinum ores and shiny ores do not exist, so we can't obtain them

 

Shiny can be gained from Pulverising Ferrous metal?

yes, but in Horizons there isn't Thermal Expansion, so we can't pulverise ores

 

As im only Skim reading. You can let me off, Can you screenshot what it tells you you need to make it? Or does it not do that.

I did then i got Confused. And if its one of the options we still need Recipes for it.

 

My question to you all is:

• Is there alternate recipies that don't require shiny?
• Why is their no shinny?
• Has this been mentioned BEFORE THIS THREAD on the ftb forums, and if so what is the response?
• What currently is uncraftable due to the lack of shinny?
• Are you absolutely sure that their are no alternate recipies that will craft those items, or a way to get shinny that was added to the modpack that is not showing in nei?

 

1) No, there isn't.
2) There is no shiny because there isn't the Pulverizer from Thermal Expansion, and so you can't pulverise Ferrous ores to get shiny dust.
3) Yes it has. The 23rd of june the FTB team said that they would have added an alternate recipe for the Containment Chamber .
4) Shiny ingots are used mainly to craft thermal foundation armor and tools, then they are used from Enhanced Inventories and to craft the Containment Chamber.
5) I'm 100% sure that there aren't alternate recipies for those items and 99% sure that there are no way to get shiny ingots.

 

Is there any other way to get shiny... maybe something from thaumcraft?

do you need the names of the uncraftable items?
I don't know all the mods that are in this modpack, maybe there is a way to get it, but i don't think so given the fact that shiny ores do not exist

 

Hm... let me get into the code tonight and explore? I'll also go bug the dev team and see what they were going to implament and see if we can't get it now on out server.

I knew there would be a lot of confusion on this, but apparently people don't listen when I say to try it first before saying I am wrong xD No there is no way to get the platinum/shiny ingots needed for it, so there has to be some other way added in to do it, and the only things i know need it are those 2 turrets and the other thermal foundation things, I checked almost all my bases before making this forum post.
The only base i didnt check was what the ftb team had said about it, considering i never really check up on them.
