Thank you. Which modpacks did you try yet? I assume you use the MyM Launcher? (I think the official one should work fine for you, as it doesn't play around with the splash screen which is crashing the game for you) A thing you could try is to delete the "libraries" directory. (right-click a pack - view folder - navigate back to .mineyourmind - delete the libraries directory)

I just tested it with a clean installation and sky factory 2 (I use java 8 and win 7, too) It worked just fine for me. Could you try the ftb launcher for hubris and the at launcher for skyfactory ?
where do igo to download the ATlauncher? i haetied the ftblauncher. just tried with a clean installation (winows 7 java 8i think) nd i gotthe same essage.
