I noticed that a lot of infernal mobs become invisible when you're trying to fight them. I believe this isn't a feature of the mod since they don't reappear again (but still hit you) and other players can see them fine. When this happens to an infernal chicken with 5 health then this isn't a problem. When it happens to a 440 hp air guardian however...it's less fun. Is this a problem with the mod itself?
One solution would be to prevent bosses from going infernal. I'd probably argue that Crimson Cultists shouldn't be able to be infernal, since the fireballs some of them produce can cause them to aggro and leave the altar, reducing the already shallow pool of eldritch obelisks which can provide crimson cult members.
A quick google run didn't dig up any similar issues. How frequent does it happen? Could you reproduce it in a few minutes with certainty?
Well, it happens on random occasions. Some days it doesn't happen once, others it happens a lot. If next to a spawner it should be very noticable.
hmm, I checked the configs but they are properly setup. Do you mind trying to reproduce it in single player?
I tested in singleplayer and there were invisible mobs. First I wasn't sure but when I used a AoE weapon, damage numbers were clearly visible on "empty" spaces.
could you explain me detailed on how to reproduce it so I can forward it? Unless you want to do it your self, which I would prefer
I just noticed that they use github for issue tracking which would be: Issues · DrasticDemise/Hubris · GitHub But if you prefer the ftb forums, I don't think they will kill you if you report it there: [1.7.10]Hubris V1.4.1- HQM - 270+ Quests [Magic][Dungeons][Dimensions][Exploration] Now Listed! | Feed the Beast
Invisible infernal mobs · Issue #2 · DrasticDemise/Hubris · GitHub I hope I included all needed information
I'm not sure if relogging fixes it. Either way the pack author now knows about the issue and hopefully it get's fixed. Do sync issues happen on singleplayer? since there is no server <-> client? (or am I wrong on that?)
on departed there were also some mobs invisible for a player but not to other. relogging fixed it every time.
Infact, You are hosting a server when you load a single player world. They changed how it all works -.-
I knew someone was going to post this When an infernal mob has the actual invisibility potion effect there are still some things you can see. Infernal spiders have their red eyes visible for example.
