Is there a way to automate the processing of ores that come from a quarry with ae and the tinkers smeltery? I tried the way I used on agrarian skies but to no avail, if possible, I don't want to use the alloy smeltery as I use that for other things Sent from my D6503 using Tapatalk
The controller is the import block I believe. Just attach an export bus or storage bus. Then use a pipe to draw the moletn liquids into a cast. (pipes cast automatically) Lastly just use pipes,hopper,... to get the ingot out. You will need 2 smelteries to be able to avoid alloys.
Have you considered using thermal expansion machines by any chance? I'm using the mod and it works really quickly.
I've tried the export bus on a chest and the smeltery controller itself and no ores will go in whatsoever Sent from my D6503 using Tapatalk
If that works, how do I filter out the ores? I know from agrarian they used to have a built in white/blacklist Sent from my D6503 using Tapatalk
I just made a setup to help you a bit. It's not really decorated though. In your base you need 2 smelteries to prevent copper + tin, copper + aluminium, ... Spoiler: Pictures I used 2 casting things to speed the casting up and since every ore = 2 ingots they will always be able to empty every fluid out of the smeltery.
Done that but now it's saying either device offline or device missing a channel I don't like new ae lol Sent from my D6503 using Tapatalk
Does the wire have more than 8 busses, panels, ... attached to them? (A smart cable help to tell you if a certain network cable is filled or not)
No, the cable has 4 buses which go into a controller which my molecular assembler, 2 interfaces and a crafting cpu to make a total of 7 channels from 2 cables which then goes to the computer, but everytime the controller is connected, I lose all power Sent from my D6503 using Tapatalk
Right, just fiddled and removed a cable that went to my ender chest, quarry chest and 5 barrels now it has loaded my test ore into the smeltery, on issue is how can I link those together and send them to the computer Also they are connected to the energy accepter for some reason Sent from my D6503 using Tapatalk
After playing with ME for a while everybody does. This vid seems good. I haven't seen everything but the parts I saw explained it very well. P2P is an easy way to minimise and controll your builds. The interface + storage bus is one of the most interesting things to use since it's infinite stackable. I wouldn't recommend using lots of those though since storage busses are resource heavy. Subnets itself can best be split up into seperated ME's to keep server strain to a minimum. Read this to know more about how to optimise AE builds: Performance Guide — MyM-Wiki 0.0.1 documentation
I think I've sorted it out, I had 2 controllers which I've changed to one controller connected to the computer with dense cable and the other cables connected to the controller with smart cables and the pc runs and the cables leading the smeltery are lit up so I assune they are working, now to figure out how to expand the filtering in the export buses lol Sent from my D6503 using Tapatalk
