Yey! Finally someone who knows that Linux is awesome. Still, I'm using Windows, because games are hard to Play on Linux/Mac and if they work they are laggy, buggy and ugly.

 

Yeah - Wine is buggy (like extremely buggy)[DOUBLEPOST=1437234690][/DOUBLEPOST]Also, Linux has all the free software that is superior and has more flexibility than Windows - E.g. I use kdenlive to edit my vids(Free). In windows, I would probably use adobe for that (Extremely expensive)

 

There are different versions of Terraria on Steam, I think. Can i buy the cheap one or do I have to buy the one for 27,99€?

As a solution for the HardMode/Easymode issue, It might be worth setting up a Hardmode server and a Easy mode server with Linked Invs (If possible) So you can progress to the next world when you get that far into the game.

Your solution does not HAVE to be the answer chugga. Everyone is open to give there opinions and due to you not being the person who would have to do this. I dont think you are the person to be saying its too much work.

I don't know Terraria (yet), but just reading the Forums i got an idea about it.

Sounds logic to me, maybe there should be Limit of Progress that you can make in Easymode.

Can't find it right now, sry.

New Idea: What if you get an optional Starter Kit in Hardmode if you wish. Is this even possible? Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong or saying something wrong. I'm new to Terraria

Well, in the easy mode you have to do a lot of things, one of the most important PREPARE. An armor is not enought, you nees the correct accesories for the right class you will be, you have to build farms and even mine ores for future craftings, sorry but this solution is not possible :/.
I liked a lot the solution of making 2 worlds thought.

the thing is Knoxz is the one with the final say here, and he is 80% probs not gonna want to make 2 dedicated servers (thats kinda bad to do....), so the kit idea is probably the best, as it isn't giving you a new pickaxe, and it's still giving you easymode items, but no accessorys, there's a reason i proposed it, because i played on other servers, and all the ones that i liked to play on did this, because it worked, (and i didn't die on its spawn cuz i spawned during it's bloodmoon), but there is a reason i proposed it, and that is why

 

Finally got Terraria working on my Mac....
