I've noticed that Infinity 5 has been crashing and lagging out immensely lately. Is somebody DDOSing the server, or is this amount of crashing and lagging normal for Infinity?
-_- The server is NOT being ddosed, the cause is most likely somebody having an inefficient me system which is timing out the server
it's a large modpack, there are probably terrible bases on it atm, i'm expecting it to be reset in a few months due to how long ago INF5 came out
Alright, I was just curious because of how we're averaging at less than 7 TPS and how often the server is crashing, usually 2-3 times an hour.
Doesn't that basically come out to be the same thing, everybody kicked off and us unable to play for a bit?
@Bennyboy1695 Will the lag/efficience of Infinity improve in the future? As in The DarkTrilogy or DireWolf homepage says "stable" and with infinity "bad perfomance"

Not sure if correlation or actual causation, but the last few times the TPS has been really bad it has been showing enderio conduit bundles as one of the high tick users so I did /ap t to get a proper count and it showed an average for node 2 of over 7k enderIO conduits in the main overworld and another 3k in the BOP world (with less than 20 players online at the time) which seems like an unrealistically massive amount to me (average of ~500/player!), so I'm starting to wonder if that might be one of the big contributing factors?
server 5 is down agian i been noticing lots of crashes/not restarts happing and i have heard of ender IO conduets being a problom for tps/lag
Looks like the tick rate on Node 1 is very low again (as of the morning of 8/11). It seems like our usual approach is to reset the server when the tick rate gets nasty. What other solutions are being considered? It seems like MyM is pretty liberal with what machines and blocks can be placed, including chunkloaders, quarries, etc etc. Can I suggest (if this is a persistent issue) cutting back on chunkloading, or banning Buildcraft Quarries and Pipes all together? Other mods exist that do the same thing with many fewer server resources.
The reason for MYMs liberalness is that if there is an offending base/thing it's usually fixed, or in extreme cases removed, trust me, talk to me once you hit a tickrate of 1, like the old monster servers, because then i'll start symphazizing with people who are whining about things that will get fixed if you do /ticket and don't use /ticket to inform staff members ASAP
