From the player vote it looks like it will be Tolkiencraft II. However as Slind mentioned earlier in the thread, it all depends on what will work well in a multiplayer environment in terms of work that needs to be put into setting up the server and whether or not the server can handle it.
everyone switch to ferrett business it is definitely server playable and is over 9000 times better than tolkiencraft
if the ferret buisness makes a miracle comeback because of what i said i will not do it, cuz that is cheating, voting diffrently just so i do something
Personally would love to be able to try out Tolkiencraft II, looks incredibly fun. Though in my opinion from a server point of view, The Ferret Business has more longevity and is more alike what we're used to, but more story driven.
Not my fault. I went to this and it auto put me on page 3. Blame the government for poor informational page quality.
The Ferret Business and TPPI2 are both kitchen sink packs as far as I know. So they should be simple to setup with our current structure. Regarding Tolkien Craft 2 and Void we will need to invest quite some time and see how we can figure out a good setup. Most of my concern's go towards void. As quests are location related. An entire city ships with it and the starting base contains many blocks which we can't copy paste with worldedit or similar plugins.
The Ferret Business works somewhat like an HQM focused EE3. It's focused around a "Business" that teleported you, the player, to another world with new resources, etc. The player can 'ship' items back and forth between the company to earn coins and shop vouchers, which are the in-game currency. These vouchers can be used to purchase resources that are needed, some resources only being obtainable through the questbook (I'm looking at you Draconic Evolution). It also offers a large set of quest lines (note entirely finished yet but getting there) that explain all the mods which can be helpful for new players. It also has lots of tweaks to improve some Quality of Life stuff.
I feel like it'd be easier to setup a "The Ferret Business" server first, so people can enjoy that while you work on a TolkienCraft server, since it will take some time and people could get antsy. (Like me)
