Claimblocks for Ontime??

Hey guys! I was just wondering what was being given as an incentive for player time? I feel like incentivizing claim blocks would work well! Give me your guys ideas as well.

Why not? I've been here a while but why did the staff decide to change it?

i would've like it if kits were available per rank. as an incentive to play more and rank up

 

most of the players with high playtime are donators because they have anti-afk kick,so it'd be useless
to them

 

Speaking as one of the players who has high tier ontime and didn't donate for it. I would like to see the ontime being used for something other than just a way to show off how much time that you have played on the server. Like an incentive to play more. If they were to implement the claim blocks for playtime, what would happen to the people who are already Immortal in game? Would they be granted their claim blocks? Since they can't rank up anymore that is.

 

almost NO one has 50 days playtime who isn't a donor (i do, technically, but if you want a flamewar about it i can prove it) so it's not really needed

 

Well, I am one of those people who DOES have the playtime for Immortal, and I haven't donated. I believe you just because I have no reason no to. Just say this is the case: A person or group of people have high playtime (Doesn't have to be Immortal). Would they get the claim blocks from the time that they already had on the server or would said people have to rank up to get the claim blocks?

 

You get claim blocks for spending time on the server. This is more or less already implemented.

 

I don't think this is already in the game anymore.

Nevertheless, possible kits or something to get as you get higher rank would be nice. It gives people something to look forward to when they rank up instead of just the time aspect.

I really dont like the idea of giving kits to people with a high playtime rank, most of the non-donors with that rank can already reach endgame in a few days without kits, and many of the donors in even less, I myself wouldnt like this, it defeats the challenge of starting on a new server, I also see why claimblocks are no longer given for playtime, it is like given free money as you can sell those claimblocks for massive amounts of mym with a simple command, also there is an amazingly easy way to get large amounts of claimblocks once you reach the point at which you would need them, it is called market, just sell nether stars or similar for 10-20 myms and watch those claimblocks rack up, I assure you you'll have thousands in no time.[DOUBLEPOST=1437945718][/DOUBLEPOST]and yes I myself do have a high playtime(at the peak of the monster servers I was rank 11 I believe, though I haven't played much since, mostly due to the ease of reaching endgame and lack of challenges(on monster even in endgame building another fusion reactor still takes both time and effort))

 

I'm sure that if people were able to use kits, they wouldn't have op items in it or anything like that.

What's to say it has to be diamond? It could be iron. Even the most novice players can make an iron pickaxe

 

I am a donor but I still vote daily and its not the end of the earth to do if you want more claim blocks. There are five sites a day to vote at daily so it doesn't take long to increase your area. There are only a few constraints on the servers and everyone is always happy to help. If your new and are nice to people I am sure they would give you a diamond pickaxe if you ask nicely enough. Just like anything in life things aren't handed to you on a silver platter all the time and part of minecraft is the grind. I personally feel a satisfaction in finding my first diamonds. If your complaining about something free then this makes no sense what so ever. If you download a pirate copy of a movie for free and its dodgy encoding dubbed in russian I don't think you'd write to the movie studio to complain.

depends on the age of the server, if it is old people would probably give you a cobalt hammer if you asked nicely, if it is new resources are more valuable, so no they likely wouldnt
