We are all about teaching players how to use mods effectively. while not many experienced players would find this useful many new players want someone who will sit down and teach them a new mod. At Metalocorp we make it our mission to explore every aspect of a modpack to it's fullest, and finding the best method of mixing said mobs to make an efficient (and hopefully lag free) design on projects.
Your sales pitch knd of sounds like you're trying to get people to join a mafia-esk thing. So if someone were to join, would they beable to leave?
players can leave if they wish and we make sure they are given adequate resources upon their departure to make sure that they aren't left with nothing. However, the amount of resources tend to vary between what they initially brought with them, how long they have been with the company, and how well they performed within that time period.
I agree that some people enjoy playing modpacks by ear and learning as they go, but I often find alot of people ask for help. Therefore, I started teaching people what I knew of mods and in turn learned about mods I had never played. Before I knew it Metalocorp was born as a place to learn the ropes of a modpack. I know that not everyone likes working as a group, but for those who are looking for a place to learn and a community to grow with our doors are open.

I use a little person called @AlphaRue for my help with new mods, other than that I do all the magic for him while he sets up infrastructure for me to destroy the tech mods
that is fine @chugga_fan as i've said before not all players will want to participate in the group. Many have their own friends who help them learn new things. We at metalocorp are simply making sure that those who are lost realize there are those out there who will help them, and teach them.
you just do thaum, other magic is my domain, I just hate doing research, and I dont just do infrastructure :/ @chugga_fan
@metalobism I am currently expiriencing some server side issues which I am trying to get fixed. Other than that I will consider it when I get home
i support this idea. on the regrowth server, 6 out of 10 new players dont know half the mods, and when i was on that server, i was the person helping the new people learn the mods. (i plan on going back after my ban timer is up, about next thursday) i will resume my role in helping new people. maybe i can be the regrowth representative?
o ok. like i said, soonest i can get on is next thursday, so i got some time to kill either way, i plan on helping new players, just wanted to know if i'd be welcome in this company. And speaking of mastery.. i have completed thaumcraft, along with about 8 different TC Addons.. Botania completed, along w/ witchery, basically if its a popular arcane mod, i've dabbled in it.
