My launcher updated and when I went into my single player world, it said that Blue gems in forge are being removed as the textures are missing. On the server I had received a Blue Gem sword from voting. Will I lose that when I log in?
So no one knows for sure if it is purposeful that Blue Gems from Pluto have been removed from the game?
It is from the 4Space Pluto mod. The mod is still on the pack. The update 1.3.1, the mod is now in place on the launcher but no blue gems on the single player world. What I see now is a sapphire gem, that looks like the blue gem. So I am thinking that there was a mod update that probably renamed them. I am going to go into multiplayer and see what happens. Edit: On the server. My sword is gone. No more Blue-Gems. I believe the mod author renamed them and they are now sapphires. Any chance I could get the sapphire sword? I doubled checked on FTB galactic science version since it is older and blue Gems are there.
So do these sapphires replace Blue Gems in crafting recipes then? I'm not at my laptop with Minecraft installed so I can't check right now myself.
According to the 4Space Github by Mattparks, the changelog states that red gems are now rubies, blue gems are now saphires so I assume too that the sapphires will work in those blue gem recipes. Edit: I just checked some of the recipes and they do take place of the blue gems.
So if the names have been changed and I lost my voting reward to just the name change, am I able to get it back as a Sapphire sword instead of the blue gem sword?
Kinda figured that. Just kinda wondering about items that takes a lot of time and resources to craft...and someone loses it through a renaming thing. That would really get me upset enough to quit.
