I'm wondering if anyone else is have an issue with the bound blade? The issue I'm having is that the bound blade Instant kills any mob i have tested it on. I've tried it on Creepers, skeletons, spiders, zombies, angry zombies, endermen (spawned from cursed earth), and almost all passive mobs. Every mob is an instant kill. for anyone who doesn't know the bound blade has to kill the mob on 2 hits or greater to get weak blood shards. There are no enchants on the blade and I believe it may be a server config that was set up improperly or simply a server side issue. It works fine in single player.
I have aqua affinity 1 soulbound 1 and respiration 3 I also have a soujourner's sash and a ring of magnetization
I took everything out of my inventory except the bound blade and am still one shotting endermen. Could my player data somehow be corrupt to make me one shot everything in existence?
I was just trying to think of a reason why i would be one shotting everything I've been trying to confirm if anyone else has been having this problem but no one has said a word. I'g guessing that no one else is having this problem. I should probably try contacting an admin.
I had this issue on hubris but i was oneshotting everything with my fists. After a day or so it went away.
