    Next month (September) we will implement an automatic farmworld reset system. We crafted the system to reset specific worlds on a weekly and monthly basis. If a world is being reset weekly or monthly can depend on the server. Below is a quick list to give a general idea.

    Weekly: Saturday
    Monthly: first of each month
    Time: first server restart of the day - GMT+1/2 (Winter/Summer)

    Monthly
    • Farm World
    • Nether
    • Dream World
    • Deep Dark / Under Dark

    • Hoanna
    • Advent of Ascension Worlds

    • something missing? let us know

    • Planets - are not being reset at this time

    Exceptions


    B-Team
    • Tropicraft - is not being reset
    • Planets - are not being reset (rocket blueprints are craftable)
    Galactic Science
    • nothing will be reset (for now)
    Infinity Evolved Skyblock
    • Nether (Void world used for building only)

    I love it, especially the End being weekly, I assume any claims in those dimensions are also reset with this?

    The planets exception also applies to horizons daybreaker and GS, please mention that and please also have a regular timer in chat saying that this will happen so players don't get mad, only critisms i can think of (edit) also the ends being reset on anything except crunnde SF2 and infinity is pointless as there are public end farms in there otherwise

    yes. It creates a backup, deletes the world, if successful deletes all claims from this world, copy's the template, re-creates template claims and starts the server back up. This is all done with unix tools, chosen by speed to be as fast as the drive allows it. (grep, sed, rsync)

    Could not agree more with that, maybe a reminder that shows up for players linking to this post that they have to acknowledge in some way or else it shows up hourly? Maybe a bit much to do for something so simple.

    Will be added. My plan was to wait until after Saturday to avoid confusion for those that are not clicking on the link. Until then the launcher does show it and the forum feed (ingame), too.

    this is a good thing cus all the world get clogged and claimed so fast do you know when the first reset will be and will there bee a time in chat to give you warning[DOUBLEPOST=1440715688][/DOUBLEPOST]
    good and on a side note slind i made a good report on the infinity server for the credits and cus these server are amazing just no one has replied and just wanted to ask?!

    I do also believe the nether needs to be reset on a 2 month~ basis at maximum, as the nether is really hard to purge of all it's resources, especially on packs with botania, where glowstone is as common as redstone if you catch my drift ;)

    i couldent agree more to be honset like on dw20s pack the nether has berly any glowstone and no nether quartz at all

    There's some logic to the End being reset on Horizons, due to the inability to fight the dragon more than once without a dragon egg.

    One last question, what about mod structures in farmworld? Like the Thaumcraft eldritch obelisks for example, will they be spawning in the farmworld? Being an otherwise very limited resource it'd be brilliant if that was possible (sorry if it's been answered elsewhere).

    Why would you need to fight the dragon at all? what is the point of it? showing off? anything else there's no reason

    To keep it simple for new players I would suggest we do it weekly or monthly. Let us see how much it will be required after 4 weeks, then we can think about moving it to weekly or increasing the size.

    Dragon Egg has no EMC, no Matter, and dragon essence is used for repairing tools and armour, increasing enchantments, and making the enhanced brewing stand. Hardly useless.

    The first two you can just EMC yourself the items and have a mobfarm, the last one what is it used to make?
