Decided Against Team fortress 2 server?

Why not have a tf2 (Team Fortress 2) server i mean we allready have a ark server pluss tf2 is a very popular game and easy ways to setup donations so people can support the server like they do on minecraft this is just and idea

 

I'd enjoy to see this but it seems like all the other none minecraft servers population die shortly after release.

 

true but this will be on the matchmaking system that tf2 has and the legacy browser so it could stay up and if theres an owner to this picivic server and there active alot it might still be popular

 

And Tf2 being free will help with some of the Mymer's who want to try it out I give my +1 I'd like to see it happen

 

Like slind said to make a tf2 server you have to have a vast amount of people that are playing there, but if this would happend i'd surely play on the server ane show of some sniper skills

Yes but when i look down this list i see hundreds of empty servers. I see this being a good idea if it was to take popularity, But I can also see it being a downfall. It depends on how its create how its ran how many active players we have.

 

well you can always spice thing up with rtd the hidden x10 prison i have some ways you could spice the server up if it was to be accepted

 

How about we just set a public server as the go to for Mymers?
I know a server that doesn't care being the go to server for communities.

 

One thing that would attract people is making a custom map, or just use a map and edit it. I used to play on a server called 2fort cool. Map was based on 2 fort and it was a really popular server with little uptime. All they did was make an extra tunnel to the intel remove the bridge in the middle and add a platform then make it able to get on the roof.

this is a very good idea but would require the developers that mym has to be good with useing the hlf 2 engine to make maps

 

Why? why not have a community contest with a major prize? like automatic max tier donation status?

 

I have to agree that would be a really good concept for a mini-competition. But I find giving away a tier 5 rank a bit extreme. I belive credits would do just the trick, or maybe tier 4.

 

thats does sound like a good idea if the founders/admins would be willing to do something like that

and tier4 without credits or tier 3 with credits so then they can choose if they want some credits and a donation rank or just a rank but higher tier rank

 

so any final verdict

 

as some donators have pointed out in the past the rank should( in my opinion) be given only to those who make a monetary contribution to the server, I believe that a large amount of credits ~5K or so would be a fair prize as it costs more than T5, but is not giving away a rank aquired by making an actual donation to the server.
