doesnt the server run on ssds?
cus they are fast

 

the world files are like 10-20 gigs in size, no matter how fast your driver writes/reads it isn't going to do that many gigs instantly

 

well i guess they dont have it running raid like my pc's startup drive so the spped isent combined[DOUBLEPOST=1442690317][/DOUBLEPOST]

that makes more sence oh and chugga worlds arnt 10 gig files

 

it doesn't matter, there is no driver that i know of that can write/read 10-20 gig files instantly, there just isn't

 

just saying you mean drive not driver and no there isent unless its like goverment class hardware

 

i'm fairly certain supercomputers can't write that fast, there usually just isn't any need for it, that's why
