Its using avaritia, its not cheap. Keep in mind that the convocation of the damned is very expensive too and you then have to survive/farm the demon invasion. What do you think about the recipe and the usage of avaritia?
I think than instead of 40+ diamond blocks, it should involve more mods, so the recipe becomes a collection of the endgame stuff in the pack, instead of just feeling a bit grindy because you need to just sit and wait for the diamond to generate.
The things i was thinking about could be Nether star blocks and charged draconium blocks. this is my thought just now, when i get on later i would look through some more things and mods to come up with other items.
About being hard to make in general, since this pack is centered around blood magic it should be hard to get the next tier. Tier 4 is sometimes hard because you need the ghast tears (which are sometimes hard to find), once you get there, you can make ghast crops, which makes it easy after that. Same holds for Tier 5 and the wither skeleton heads (easy after that with the crops). Tier 6 needs stars, which again is easy once you get the wither head to star recipe with Tier 6. Tier 2 and 3 have its small challenges too. After you have reached a tier, it is not that hard to make multiple altars of the same tier, but getting to one tier in the first place should be hard. I agree that the Tier 6 recipe might need a more widespread list of items from more mods. (bees? ), but leave the suggestions to more experienced users. More different things required for the recipe would make it more interesting to dive into mods and maybe less grindy. I would still keep it in a way, that the second altar isn't that hard to make any more. So basically you need to grind for Tier X, but once you get to X you get better options of getting the required items.
