i notice that ppl is geting warned and banned when using a (@Testtag) why? why not disable the feature so no one is geting problems for somthing they do not know. and some staff is very strikt on this. almost like a obsesion. they warn old players that know how the tag is working. if i know this isue is to big for a mod and i tag a admin should i get warned or banned? yes i know somone is taging all the time and abuse it. but when somone do it right they get the belt to :/?? and somone say the @tag is not working for players if so why so big deal? i thing this is abused both ways, saff and players. what is your experiance whit @tag and staff/player response? sorry for my bad spelling.
Uhm can you point me to one person banned for using it? Normal players aren't able to tag staff groups and we ask people not to tag one person to avoid things piling up or being delayed by one person rather than a team. This seems aimed at being anti-staff.
Nobody has every gotten banned or warned, they just get told not to do it as players literally don't have the perms needed to do it on the forums. Which is the staff tag other staff groups, the perms also get sent across to our actual names so most of the time tagging us by name wont even work
They have been "warned" not to do it because it doesnt work, but not in any official warn capacities.
hmm, it being called notified, told, warned, informed.. all kinda the same. No one has been given a warning in the way of it being attached to the account. In terms of after 5 warnings you get suspended. As far as I know has it allways been informational and request like only. Tagging users does work, tagging groups does only work for staff. Well both works but only the user tags send out notifications. Blocking the formatting of @group.. is not possible.
