Third Agrarian Skies server?

    I am so up for this! I would definitely join this new server. I think it'd be really cool, as said above, if we had it whitelisted by number of hours played on the other 2 servers, and then after you hit a certain rank, you get accepted into the whitelist, and you'll be able to join.

    I don't see where agrarian needs any additions but I do like the idea of it being whitelisted, that way the server could be limited to keep the questbooks from reseting, and using the ranks to invite people seems a fairly good idea.

    Well, I mainly want to improve the speed of my me system smelting and pulverizing, better gear, just things that isint in agrarian skies but would make it a little more bearable.

    a 3rd - whitelisted - server would be cool. all the ppl who are playing longer on the others (and keep playing) could have a server where no QB reset would happen :)

    I like that, it would have to be a very small group of people. Would it be for players > 10 hours? or > X hours? Or Tiered players?[DOUBLEPOST=1400169903,1400169809][/DOUBLEPOST]Also, I don't mind the QB reset. I have two chest that lets me complete about 14 quests in under two 2 hours. Hello goodie bags!

    I would say 10 or 15 playtime minimum. Maybe you would be able to invite your friend. Now this should be a special command that will allow the player to log into the server, but they still can't create a island before they have a minimum of X hours. But would be able to join islands.

    Well i guess there should be a prove u are able to play the pack and especially dont get easily bored by it.
    The most reason we have +1000 (think its like 3k or so) unique players are those who joins do 2-3 quests get bored or ragequit cause of first death.

    would recommend following conditions:
    * donators (well they donated and should be able to join under any circumstances)
    they do tend to play longer or have played longer than no donators

    * 10 hours of playtime on AS1/AS2
    * completed at least the first 3 rows of the server own /challenges
    this would ensure someone is familiar with the pack itself. Wouldnt go for the 4th row cause maybe someone dont focus on them.
    the 5th row is even harder, even if your a long time player its very very hard to complete

    Its just an idea, maybe this is too low/too high.

    sounds good, but i would reduce the challengecompletion to 2 rows

    And here I sit, reset QB, not even completed 1 server challenge. But yet I can make tessaracts in second with ME, a new entire base, best gear (primal staff, bound armour, etc) and I haven't even completed 1 server quest xD

    Get something setup to get all the basics quests can be knocked out in an hour.

    The thing is with a minimum of 10 hour playtime u should be able to get the challenges pretty fast done.
    It would make sure u are able to get some stuff done and not sit 10 hours crooking trees and eating apples.

    I guess, would not be a problem though. Could do many of the server quests fast anyways thanks to the great infrastructure and equipment that can be used

    I've only taken a look at the first quests in the server quests and it didint look that appealing then. Tho I see I need some cactus. If I need anything related to plants it will take no time thanks to the sigil green grove and a basically infinite supply of LP :D

    My plan would be add the following mods:

    • IndustrialCraft 2
    • ArsMagica 2
    • Chisel
    • CarpentersBlocks
    • Hardcore Ender Expansion
    • Thaumic Tinkerer
    Any other suggestions or anything against this mods?

    First of all i would say that if this happens we should not add too many new mods. Some might ruin the experience of AS and also the actual pack is quite nice in terms of ressources (CPU/RAM usage)


    I would not add Hardcore Ender Expansion.
    I wasnt to the end yet but isnt it only a small plattform?
    HEE would add worldgen and i am not sure if it would bring anything useful besides exploring in a very lategame status.

    With TT i am fine but i wouldn't mind if it would be not added.

    AM2 is quite into the direction of PVP/PVE it would bring some nice defensive stuff which helps with Blood Magic and Nether exploring.
    Same opinion as with TT.

    IC2 would be awesome for the EU-Lovers, would give some additional tools.
    I love IC2 and i am completely fine with adding it.
    And with the adding of the RF Jetpacks the early flight wouldnt be gamebreaking

    Chisel and Carpenters are nice for building awesome idea.


    Some mods/changes i can think of (just ideas):
    * As i wrote previous enable full extra utilities pipes and nodes.
    * Project red: I really miss the redstone stuff. (Can be made with vanilla mechanics for sure) and also adds some nice lightning options
    * Translocators: those are way to awesome with AE Interfaces. It doesnt add too much but those are just nice.

    I haven't played it but I heard that it alters the IC2 crafting for the harder. And u would not like to have to get all that extra shit since almost everything becomes endgame in IC2 then. This is after all a skyblock and it isint East to get all of the stuff all the time

    i know it is pain in the butt to configure gregtech so that you can play with it, but i always liked the fusionreactor and so on
