I am currently trying to buy the 'Keep inventory on death' option at the spawn on M2. However, the signs don't seem to be working. I have tried right clicking them, punching them, yelling at them, etc. Nothing seems to work. In all seriousness though, I asked for help from a mod (Slyder5649) and he was not able to use them either. Would appreciate if this can be fixed at some point. Thank you. (Screen shot just to prove that I have the necessary funds)
The way it should work is you left click on the sign and it should give you a message in chat asking you to type how many you want to buy, though as you say it does appear to be broken, so if need be I can come on at some point and manually sell you one.
Thank you for fixing the issue quickly. I was able to buy the gene from the spawn but I am not able to use it. Took the syringe back to M+. According to the wiki you should be able to inject the syringe into yourself by right clicking with the syringe in hand, however nothing seems to happen. Just to double check that I was using the syringe correctly I tried using an empty syringe which showed the animation fine. However, the empty syringe disappears afterwards (I assume because the mod is partially blocked). (Initial purchase) (empty syringe functioning properly) (save inventory syringe not responding to right clicking)
@Auonddon setting the quickshop to infinite destroys metadata, this is why we have the setup with the creative strongbox. However @Tomuchan please let us know when you are online that we can give you the gene directly.
Currently online on M+, will be online for the next few hours. As an afterthought, is the gene permanently attached to my character even after death? Default advanced genes disappear after death and you are supposed to store back ups. Not sure how you intended this to work.
As far as I know is the default setting for the genes on permanent in the monster modpack. SirWilli will get on and give your the gene.

actually i tested it yesterday and it worked fine, i was aounddon's initial test bunny for it derp not infinite as i read it distroyed metadata (extreme derp)
