If you mean items/blocks that would allow you to change the time of day, the only one i know of is the core block of a tree of time from twilight forest, but i'm sorry to say that we have that function deliberately disabled because we don't want someone to be able to troll the server with it... Same reason we don't allow iodine charges or anything else that can turn the rain on at will.
Oh yeah, the way that requires half the server to coordinate in order for it to work lol, I'd wager less that 5% of the players on Monster even have a bed set since everyone can just use /sethome
ummm chaos i'm the only one who knows how to and i don't abuse it but... i do it for 1 thing, getting rid of raidiation(it makes rain).[DOUBLEPOST=1400241084,1400241033][/DOUBLEPOST] gany's mods do it and so does witchery
The rain has a largely insignificant use of getting rid of radiation. It turns a 1:360,000 chance (per tick) into a 1:36,000 chance of deterioration (per tick) and depending on the area, you may need to deteriorate each point of radiation 10-15 times. On average, there are 30-40 unique points of radiation when accidents occur. And yes, you are correct, there are a few in-game ways that are still available which allow rain to be summoned at will. I have no idea how long they'll still be available for though.
I know tons of items that can stop/make rain, you're not the only one. / It wasn't in the post, but i was talking about the monster modpack.
The only rain tool that is supposed to be allowed is the forestry rainmaker when used with dissipation charges to stop the rain but with the Iodine Capsule from the same mod banned so that you can't start the rain, only stop it. Any other methods of starting the rain are not supposed to be enabled, so please report any you know of so that that may be rectified
Reika recently added a new config option to prevent the Silver Iodide Cannon from starting (but not stopping) rain. Post can be found here. I suggest enabling this option
You've probably seen this in other posts before, but the quickest way to flag a suggestion like this for the admins who can actually make the change is to tag them with @Admin Side note to Slind or Willi, do you still get notifications when the @Admin usergroup is tagged, or do I need to tag @Founder too?
I disabled it. Normally with @Founder but somehow we got no alert. However, I normally read all posts
