Implemented Update Website Home Page

What the subject says take off the music on main website or make it start paused at least also update the mod packs to the more popular ones posted on the home site and just dropping a few servers that no one plays would be nice

 

i agree the second request, however i think the music makes the site the site seem more epic

 

I personally like the music on the home page. Gives the site some character. A nice welcome for new users.

But I do agree that the servers shown on the home page should be updated.

The page could use a major change though for example Dark trilogy is closing yet it is posted and listed as a top pack[DOUBLEPOST=1446430527,1446430505][/DOUBLEPOST]I'm willing to put in the work if given the chance

 

I like the idea of changing the main site a bit, maybe even the music, mash up the colours on the logo or (God forbid) the font and as for music, i think if we're doing anything major with the main site, that we should change it too, maybe something like this:

 

The music needs to be not copyrighted and therefor allowed public use.

 

im aware of this, however, the botania creator vazkii, used this for her gaia 2 boss battle as the music that plays in the backround, theres also a disc it rarely drops that plays the same music, so it's likely we'd simply have to ask for permission first

 

I'd enjoy a mute button that saves on refresh because the music scares me every time I miss click home.

I dont think we need to add MORE. Simply replace the older server photo/links on the main page with newer, more popular ones.

How did this get to a logo redesign? lol. That's taking it a bit too far in my opinion.

 

Well, if a proposed change around in the site is on hand, maybye not a logo redesign, but some new music, something uplifting yet epic, tbh the current music stops being awe inspiring after the first few times

 

Any music would stop being inspiring after a few times. I think the point is to draw people in to begin with. It isnt boring for anyone who has never heard it.

Users that visit often can just go to mym.li/forum and skip the front page alltogether.

 

Just swap out Dark Trilogy for Regrowth. All the rest are still active.

 

Guys the music should stay exactly as it is as it is a part of a commercial mindgame. Every time you hear the same or similiar sounds, you think of MyM And that's what it is all about.

For example, I saw a commercial, not some time ago, of some car and music they used was exactly the same one. Guess what was my 1st thought...
