Vanilla Terrafirmacraft, Would you play it?

This would be the perfect thing to hold me over til fallout 4 comes out.

 

I will be looking into this pack further in the coming days.

 

Oh heck yea i would play this! I've been watching Etho play it on his pack and it looks awesome. Also i like Krhymez idea of the 5 nations

 

I really don't want this idea to died i mean just by looking at the poll you can see many players that would be interested on playing terrafirmacraft

 

I am working on getting approval for a TFC server. It is a surprise hopefully it will get a green light then we can all be happy.

 

From my experience playing terrafirma the last week I can see how the server market or a trading post would play a HUGE part in survival on the server. Some resources I've had to travel by boat for in game days to get. I check the forums everyday now just to see if and when the terrafirmacraft server will go up xD

 

I would Love to play TFC on a server! I have watched a TFC let's play by GenerikB, but I haven't played it myself.

 

I would love for a TFC server. It is a wonderfully hard modpack that might kill you just as soon as you finally get that one important thing. It would be hard to balance having a good server vs. the needs TFC brings if massive amounts of players are on a single server. Crossing my fingers that we'll have the chance to get a server up...especially with the awesome community that we have on MyM!

 

The Only Problem I see is players joining for the first time in the middle of Winter

 

yeah, thats a good point actually, but people could help each other

 

This is Prob Going to be a server where everything above Sticks and Stones is endgame, it might be a bit hard to help people out

 

Well we can say that worldgen stuff is not endgame

 

I was thinking this would be a great pack to have townie or some other similar plug in installed

 

Towny is kind of touchy. Its been debated back and fourth and most people like the claim system we already have, and Towny would require some editing to balance out with TFC

 

As this would be a pack I would be bringing up I am open to suggestions. (provided it gets approved)

 

keep the current claim system, it can be subdivided into plots later in the game, so we can have towns run by a single / multiple players, although i do enjoy towny :3 also, the endgame item list wouldn't be too hard, I could play the pack for a few hours to see what and what isnt hard to make, we could also ask someone like @Mossb3rg because he has had a recent addiction, and even posted a few photos

 

My thing about towny is that it is really annoying to have to pay currency to keep your claim and if you run out of myms your claim is gone.

 

Could we not edit the config to determine what the currency is?

 

not to sure really the couple servers that i played on that had this just make it cost the currency on the server to keep your claim up
