Implemented Horizons, Hubris And Cloud9 (Time to retire them?)

From time to time i check the watchdog tracker, These mod packs seem to have 0 players most of the time.
I think it might be time to retire them. In order to free up resources for the rest of the packs and possibly new servers in the future.

 

don't forget the server no one is ever on, the skyblock, (sorry to the admins who setup the skyblock)

 

yhea, that's why, 1/10th a person per day playing over time, that means someone is logging in every 10 days approximately, so no use in having it tbh

nah, hypovolemia has been running at 20 tps nearly constantly, i'm doing nothing on there apparently (even though i have the best base setup atm...)

 

I agree with this, Saving resources, more nodes for popular servers, new modpacks, perhaps.

 

History is destined to repeat itself, just as chugga will one day cause the lagpocolipse on hypo, repent my children for the rapture is upon us

also i think its an excellent idea to retire the old tired servers mentioned above, maybe even free some space for new packs made by the community :3

 

Didn't even realize MYM had a skyblock server. Perhaps it is more an issue of awareness than interest.

Hopefully pixelmon stays even with a low volume since it is unique albeit a little out of date.

 

I'd ask for it to be updated to 1.8, as that would probably attract alot more players, but yhea, they made a big announcement and multiple threads about it, not much traction as you would guess

I like the variety of the different servers here.

It seems all the servers start quick, the better ones stay 10-20 on at a time, the rest seem to die out in a couple weeks to a couple die hards. Once the population drops below 5 even those people start to bail figuring the end is near, and the server will be shut down.

Also many people that do not jump on a new server quickly log into find the world barren of needed items. For example the Farm World in Infinity is near empty of nodes, unlooted meteors and beehives are going quick. its still 14 days till the farm world reset, overworld those item are rare sites. Its a hard to get started when you things that should be easy to find are rare.

 

*cough* Mechanical Titan *cough* The Last Venturer *cough*

 

Think i would prefer to see Magic Farm 3, its one of the only packs with Mo Creatures.
