Rank promotion (non donor)

There should be an option, if there isn't one already, that players can disable the message that tells when a player upgrades to a non donor rank. (lost soul, duke, etc.) It can cause tons of spam and flooding of chat. Anyone else agree?

 

it all happens at the same time, and i can only see this being a problem on the popular servers like infinity soo...

 

It happens on nearly all the servers. It completely floods chat. I think players should have a command to ignore it so it doesn't flood their chat.

 

There currently isnt anyway of doing this, but shouldn't be too hard for one of the devs to implement a permission like mymranks.silent that if a player has that they don't see the rank updates in chat. But it will be very low priority

 

That would be amazing. I am sure all the players would greatly appreciate it. When I was still a Moderator, I had several complaints about that.

 

If you have Tabby Chat you can ignore that messages..
