Done [Question] Is there any cities around? And could other player have already visited them?

Citys can be accest via the mym portal (nether) its a custom nether with autoregening chests so you can find the chests.

 

Are those regualr nether portal? And is there regular nether mobs in there?

Build a nether portal place a sign directly under and powee the sign with redstone. Cities have blaze pigman and witherskelle spawners in them so it should be fine.
