Implemented Allow Thaumcraft Inventory Scanner

hey, i'm back again. i installed thaumcraft inventory scanner another client side mod so i can scan items in my inventory instead of having to throw shiz on the ground to scan it and i got kicked. on the curse page for the mod it says that the server-side mod can be installed and for client side it's OPTIONAL so idk if server side has to be installed but if it is people will still be able to join whether they have it or not

Most likely all of them and I agree to that being usefull

 

wow even language on a forum where 9 year olds probably can't use it okay then, probably server side but as i said client side is optional so people who don't have it can still join, and infinity hard mode node 1

I would love to see this mod on the MyM servers. As it is clientside optional, I feel it would be a good addition to the server side mods, and then the clientside part would work well as one of the optional mods to install with the MyM launcher.

 

Its on Thaumic Skies and is really nice

It's a server side mod that is optional client side. You don't have to have it to connect to the server but if you have it you can use it.

 

Looks like a great utility mod for Thaumcraft, i may add it to Civ in the future.

 

I agree. This is something that we should consider making an option for all packs with Thaumcraft. I started using it recently in Thaumic Skies and love love love it.

 

I especially love that it lets you scan your own self for your own aspects. You'd have to use the camera otherwise, and that's only added by one of the thaumic mods!

Hover over your player in your inventory while holding the thaumcraft scanner. Also works with items. ofc

 

This would be a great little addon to the modpack because it would lessen the grind for aspects[DOUBLEPOST=1451986816][/DOUBLEPOST]lol 0 No votes but 23 yes votes

 

That's because even people who wouldn't use it still see the use and no downside

 

Is this mod on every server ?

Or is it only player side mod?

Oh, I had fun using this in Thaumic Skies...I didn't have to throw my Armor down just to scam em, Ha. This is such a useful tool i'd love to have this in the MYM Launcher -startup- which gives us the choice to add certain tools for game-play or not ^-^

 

itd be useful on regrowth, since it takes a while to get to to the point you can start thaumcraft, and by the time you have a scanner, you have so much stuff in so many chests, going through to throw it all on the ground is tedious
