The single chunk per player was made so it could reduce tps lag correct? I can completely understand that, but the problem I have with it is that say you have a t6 altar, your gonna need a chunk loader to load the entire thing, or say your making a witchery circle that effects it by saying its not a full circle. Basically what I'm trying to say is that people are gonna have big bases and machines spread out, so I was thinking you could limit the player to a 3x3 chunk loading area. Maybe you could test this to see how bad this effects the TPS. While I was playing today on the direwolf20 server I found my self standing in one chunk for 10 minutes waiting for iron and gold to smelt, while if I could load more chunks I could've progressed further than I am now. I can completely understand if you deny this request. (sorry there were messages spread everywhere I've never been very good at this)
Please don't say use chunk loaders because I personally think its insane to pay 150 tickets per minute just to load 1 chunk and like 450 to load 3
This has been around for more than a year now, didn't cause any issues that couldn't be resolved. The two examples won't be impacted by it, try it out
150 tickets for 1 chunk? How many things do you have ticking there!!?!? The most I got to for my 3x3 loader was 75/minute... you were using the online (iron) chunk loader right?
i would guess hes using the offline chunk loader its quite expensive but you can work with it rember you get 50 tokens a day
I just tried the chunk loader system, i like it but I misconceived the tickets part 1 token=10k tickets so if you vote consecutively then this program works for me. Sorry about the misconception
You also only need to load the altar not the rest itself. So place your t6 at like a boundary of your 3x3 and you are fine.
