I don't know if this is the right place to post stuff like this but it looks like the best place. As you know some of the players including myself live in a large city and the claims are just plain annoying. I would like to request the addition of the plugin towny if that is possible. It would add a brand new aspect to the city and a nice touch to the server, the protection plugin you have now is good for individual bases in the world but is not good for a city or a group of people living together. Towny fixes that and can allow a better protection system for the town, we could claim those community building for those who are living in the town and be accessible to them all without the problem of griefing. Also I would like to request the plugin custom enchants, the enchanting system currently in the server is lacking, custom enchants can fill the void where some of the game play is lacking. Also it would compliment mcmmo nicely with the skills. Also I don't know if it possible to add plugins to the server because I don't know how your network is setup e.g how bungee connects all the servers to the lobby server. If I have wrongful spoken please forgive, I am new to how you do things here at MyM. Thanks for your time - FoxFire_MC
As for the town you can set up subdivisions of a main plot. The owner of the main plot has permission everywhere just like towny. As for the enchants please expand upon that.
The reason we had wanted towny specifically is so we could turn things off like mob spawning and the claim community buildings e.g the club/farms to protect them from harm while still keeping them open for use by the citizens without having to wait for them to be on, ask for permission and then trust them. It also includes the ability to lock specific chests while keeping others wide open. Now as for custom enchants it allows you to "make" your own enchants such as an enchantment that you could put on a bow and when you shoot it at a block it pulls you to it like a grappling hook. That by its self would be super handy for those of us why can't fly.... Anyway other things it can do includes things like when on all your armour it could make you have a lifesteal effect when hit or when hit randomly give your attacker a debuff. Of course it is completely customizable and is limited by your imagination, and I hear there is some creative people over there on staff. All is all it would go together with the mcmmo skills and would make the enchanting a lot more fun to use and can be a wonderful addition to the server. And again thanks for your time.
Here is a link to the bukkit page: Custom Enchantments - Bukkit if your interested.[DOUBLEPOST=1453910229][/DOUBLEPOST] Not just keep them from spawning but also make them despawn as soon as they enter the city limits.
I did not mean for you to replace it I only meant it to be loaded along side of it for larger cities and towns and such while the other protection plugin was for individual bases.
That makes no big difference from the effort and towny was never tested with our system which will probably add a lot of issues.
Ok so towny it out but what about Custom enchants? That plugin would be very much welcomed on the server. And as for the compat with the other stuff you dont have anything that would conflict with it. If it is possible Please add it to the server. Thanks for the continued use of your time. -FoxFire_MC
Well while the final decision is being made, I will be sitting here biting my nails. As everyone knows vanilla + is a bland pack with no end game, not that there needs to be one. All I was saying is that having more enchants would be another goal and "interesting" mechanic. Also a grappling hook would not only be epic but also a nice "quality of life" sort of thing (just saying). -FoxFire_MC
I hate to rush or beg but is this still under consideration or is the answer just no? As you can see, I am not the only one that would enjoy / benefit from it. Thank you for your continued support.
I don't see it fit into the theme of vanilla+ and don't like changing it. We always try to keep the packs as initial as possible.
