Is the Draconic Reactor explosion disabled? I'm just wondering because i want to build one but at the same time don't want my base to disintegrate.
ha! Fantastic, do you know the range of it? In the ftb wiki it says it "explosions do not quite penetrate down to bedrock, they come to within 30-40 blocks (assuming the reactor is placed at approximately layer 60)"
Well when my draconic reactor blew up it only took the core with it, everything else was undamaged. Even my chickens were alive.
Not actually, it was on infinity in my claim. But as islands are just enormous claims, it should not be different for you.
Tip: use computers to control it, if you have cc in the modpack, as the reactor output increases with time. Also plz keep the reactor and energy core in a single and same chunk, or else it all may explode.
yah i was planning on it to be in the same chunk because I'm trying to minimize chunk tickets as much as possible. I would use CC but dont know how to use them.
Cc is easy, just set it up like how it instructs and let the computer do the rest.[DOUBLEPOST=1476951885][/DOUBLEPOST]I use this.[DOUBLEPOST=1476951946][/DOUBLEPOST]There may be more efficient codes, but this one is tested and nicely labeled.
I have confirmed it during a test, it is nerfed to the point only the core goes with it. I have set up blocks all directions 100m away and only the core was destroyed. Not even the signs marking what lengths they were or the blocks under the core lol. So it is safe to make it at a base.
