should generate a small obsidian platform, it does no matter what in vanilla
when entering an end portal you should get obsidion spawned under you as a platform, so this should be no problem, fly around to a pillar and kill...

dude, make sure there are no other mobs within a 3x3 chunk area and torch the place up, and you will get your spawns ;> i don't even play...
also never use robots, BC robots need to be banned on all 1.7.10 servers, their the BANE of tps, 3 of them are worse than 3 of my base networks...
