Implemented A problem...

This is a problem with the atomic dissassembler. Everytime someone mines with it, it glitches the whole world! it causes the world to show stuf where is isnt supposed to be, not show the textures in yiur inventory, and cause the famous lag spike of death like every time someone mines a block ( and with that thing u can instant mine 10 blocks in a tick,so it gets laggy.).

 

had the same problem. unfortunately i dont think there is anything we can do.
my tip: dont use it. also it does not affect the server. the problem is clientside only.
the mining of a view blocks at a time should not "lag" the server.

 

but the problem is, when it glitches the inventory to fix it either open golden bag of holding or hold the atomic dissasembler. I would just ban it. but give back the resources needed for it cause jeese, that thing is expensive. On rf and materials. And lol when someone was mining with it it glitched out my glider, made it point different directions like up(lol) and made my boots of the traveler appear on the top of the hang glider

 

Banning it? Everyone must not have this problem as it is client side and simply having a stronger computer can fix this huge "lag spike"

its not lag, the thing makes stuf appear where it shouldn't be, stuf like that. Also knoxz tell me why the real crackpack server the whole thing glitched when docm77 mined with it. www.youtube.com/docm77

 

Invalid URL. And if it makes stuff appear where they should not be what do you mean? Like the item drops or it creating ghost blocks?

the url works for me[DOUBLEPOST=1405350168,1405350097][/DOUBLEPOST]and like the hang glider glitches out, armour appears where it shouldnt me, clouds appear at y 20, and when near a nether portal, the whole sky goes black and things from the nether appear, where they arent in the overworld

 

I really don't think an item can do all that. Anyhow that's not a reason to ban in in my opinion. Just don't use it. There might be some people that can use it without this happening, don't want to ruin it for them do we?

ok i'll tell you the reason it glitches out on you, IT'S ON YOUR BACK, thats it, nothing more, causes glitched ent textures on clientside for anyone near you.

 

We're not banning it until a real issue appears. If such an issue appears, we'll look into in then.

It's a mod issue, not ours.

Honestly back tools is just freakin annoying in general... Invis potions yeah back tools pa invis while it will screw that too or so I've heard

 

i like backtools, lets not remove it.

On the menu when you force update it could list all the client mods as well as the other mods that are listed.

 

That is no help.

The backtools mod is a client-side mod. There is no configuration files for it server-side. It cannot be disabled.

The only way that this mod can be disabled permanently is to have it removed from the modpack itself by the modpack creators. Disabling it on your client will only prevent YOU from seeing tools on other players back, but they will still be able to see yours as they still have the mod on their client enabled.

Although, if you simply google "back tools crackpack", you see a ton of people already complaining about this issue, and it has been seen by the mod creator, iChun. As you can see here, there is a fix for it, but not for this modpack version. http://puu.sh/aigiR/c8da73544c.png

Would not help at all. People who connect via the proper ATL launcher would be at an advantage because they will see peoples backtools. Trust me. THERE IS NO SOLUTION TO THIS ISSUE. Just be careful.
